While Jeff Hardy attempted a pin on Nic Nemeth, Matt tried to prevent Ryan from breaking it up and inadvertently stepped over referee Paige Prinzivalli. The awkward visual prompted some fans on Twitter to mock the elder Hardy. Responding to the criticism, Hardy took to social media, stating, “It was an accident, but some fans took to twitter to mock the elder Hardy and, now, Hardy has responded.”
He further clarified, “It was an accident.”
