MVP, speaking alongside his Hurt Syndicate partners and current AEW World Tag Team Champions Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, recently made a bold declaration about their championship reign during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
The group, currently embroiled in a storyline involving MJF attempting to join their ranks, holds the top prize in AEW’s tag team division, and MVP made it clear they have no intention of relinquishing the gold soon.
“We are holding onto these titles until we say we’re done with them,” MVP stated confidently during the interview.
He further elaborated on the group’s future ambitions beyond the tag team division, indicating plans for Lashley and Benjamin to pursue individual success once their tag title reign concludes on their own terms. “Then it’s on to the next phase, and that’s singles championships for these two gentlemen,” MVP noted, referring to Lashley and Benjamin. His comments project long-term dominance for the Hurt Syndicate over the AEW tag team scene before potentially shifting focus to singles championships.
