The anticipated arrival of international star Thekla to All Elite Wrestling appears to be confirmed. According to a report from F4WOnline, citing Fightful Select, the Austrian wrestler known as the “Toxic Spider” has officially signed a contract with AEW.
This news follows recent teases on AEW programming, including spider graphics appearing during Dynamite, hinting at her imminent arrival. The report notes that Thekla had been planning her move to the United States for some time and the deal with AEW was finalized after being in development for a while.
Thekla recently concluded a multi-year tenure with Japan’s World Wonder Ring Stardom promotion in late April 2025. During her time there, she captured the SWA World Championship and the Goddess of Stardom Tag Team Championship, initially as part of the Donna del Mondo faction before joining God’s Eye.
While her official AEW debut date remains unknown, Thekla recently posted about heading “off to new lands.” Her signing adds another significant international talent to AEW’s growing women’s division, following the recent addition of fellow former Stardom wrestler Mina Shirakawa.
