A major women’s match has been added to the upcoming CMLL x NJPW FantasticaMania Mexico event. During the May 7 edition of CMLL Informa, it was announced that former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa will make her CMLL debut against La Jarochita.

The singles contest is scheduled for the FantasticaMania Mexico show on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the historic Arena México in Mexico City. This marks Thunder Rosa’s return to wrestling in Mexico for the first time since 2019 and represents another significant crossover facilitated by AEW’s partnership with CMLL.

La Jarochita is currently one-half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions, adding prestige to this first-time matchup. The announcement adds to a growing card for the special event week in June, which also includes AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam Mexico taking place in Arena México.

Other previously announced participants for the FantasticaMania Mexico show include NJPW stars like Shingo Takagi, Hiromu Takahashi, Titan, Francesco Akira, and TJP, along with talent from RevPro, ROH, and AEW, promising a unique blend of international wrestling styles.
