Ring of Honor presents its Supercard of Honor pay-per-view tonight, July 11, from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event features several championship matches and grudge matches, continuing a big weekend for wrestling in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
In the main event, ROH World Champion Bandido will defend his title against AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita. Takeshita earned this opportunity by winning a number one contender’s match and looks to capture his first major championship in the United States against the popular luchador.
The ROH Women’s World Championship will be on the line as the dominant champion, Athena, faces her toughest challenger to date in former AEW Women’s World Champion, Thunder Rosa. The two have been on a collision course for months, with this bout being one of the most expected of the night.
A special attraction will see the ROH Pure Championship defended, as champion Lee Moriarty takes on lucha libre legend Blue Panther. The match came about after Blue Panther’s impressive showings during the recent ROH and CMLL crossover events, and it will be a major test of Moriarty’s technical prowess against the master of the craft.
