A new report from Fightful Select has provided an update on the status of Keith Lee, who has been absent from AEW programming for 20 months due to health issues. According to the report, Lee’s name has been mentioned in backstage discussions in AEW, and there is hope that he could return to the ring, though nothing is concrete.
Lee himself stated in June that he is “quite fine” and that a return is not up to him. His last match was in December 2023.
