AEW star Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and wrestling personality Alicia Atout were married yesterday, September 5, in Long Island, New York. The news of the wedding was shared on social media by AEW commentator Taz, who attended the ceremony and posted a photo of himself alongside MJF and his son, HOOK. In the caption, Taz extended his congratulations to the happy couple.
“Big congrats to @The_MJF & @AliciaAtout on their marriage! Wish them nothing but a lifetime of happiness! ”
MJF also commented on his big day on his own social media account. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the self-proclaimed “Salt of the Earth” referred to the occasion as “the death of a bachelor” and vowed to always remember the special day.
The couple began dating in 2023 and announced their engagement in November of that same year. Their relationship has been occasionally referenced on AEW programming, though MJF has maintained his arrogant, “scumbag” persona throughout. Before their relationship, MJF was previously engaged to artist Naomi Rosenblum, and Atout was in a relationship with fellow wrestler Richard Holliday, whom she also managed during their time in Major League Wrestling. The wedding brings together two well-known personalities in the wrestling industry.
