AEW original and member of The Dark Order, Evil Uno, has confirmed that he works in a backstage capacity for All Elite Wrestling in addition to his on-screen role as a performer. The veteran wrestler, who has been with the company since its inception in 2019, made the revelation during a recent interview, though he did not specify the exact nature of his backstage duties. The news is not a major surprise to those who follow the company closely, as many tenured and respected wrestlers in AEW also serve as coaches, producers, or agents behind the scenes, lending their experience to help the next generation of talent and contribute to the overall production of the shows.
Speaking on the Johnny I Pro Show, Uno was asked about his involvement in the recent All Out pay-per-view. He confirmed that while he was not scheduled to be on the show as a wrestler, he was still there as part of his backstage responsibilities.
“I will be at All Out. I don’t believe I’ll be on the pay-per-view but, I work a backstage job so I will be present.“
