The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has released a detailed, quarter-hour breakdown of the viewership for the special “Title Tuesday” edition of AEW Dynamite, which went head-to-head with the “NXT vs. TNA Showdown” on October 7. The show averaged 321,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. These numbers were down 31% in total viewers and 27% in the key demo from the previous week’s episode. The show did not rank in the top 25 on cable for the day.
The quarter-hour numbers show a significant drop-off throughout the broadcast, which is a common trend for shows that are pre-empted or on a different night than usual. The opening segment featuring “Hangman” Adam Page and Samoa Joe drew the highest numbers of the night, with 445,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating in the key demo. The viewership steadily declined from there, with the main event trios match between Brodido & Okada vs. The Don Callis Family dropping to 249,000 viewers and a 0.06 rating in the key demo.
It is important to note that Nielsen recently changed its ratings measurement system, which makes direct comparisons to previous years more difficult. The full quarter-hour breakdown is below:
