TNA Wrestling is set to kick off the new year with the return of one of its classic pay-per-view events. During the broadcast of the Bound For Glory pay-per-view on Sunday night, the promotion announced that the 2026 edition of TNA Genesis will take place this coming January in Dallas, Texas. While a specific date and venue for the event have not yet been revealed, the announcement confirms the company’s first major show of the new year and continues their tradition of naming events after their classic pay-per-views from the 2000s.
The Genesis event first took place in November 2005 and was a staple of the company’s pay-per-view calendar for many years before being used more sporadically. Next year’s edition will be the 11th time the company has used the Genesis name, which was revived this year after a four-year absence. The return of Genesis also suggests that the “Hard to Kill” pay-per-view name, which had been used for the January event in recent years, will remain on the shelf for the time being.
The remaining pay-per-view and streaming special events for TNA in 2025 are below:
- Turning Point (streaming special) on Friday, November 13 from Orlando, Florida
- Final Resolution (streaming special) on Friday, December 5 from El Paso, Texas
