Don’t expect to see “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” back in a ring or an octagon anytime soon. During a recent appearance on the “Bertcast” podcast, UFC Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion Ronda Rousey made it unequivocally clear that she is happily retired and has no desire to return to her past life as a professional fighter or wrestler. Rousey, who last fought in the UFC in 2016 and parted ways with WWE in 2023, stated that she is content with her current life and that no reasonable amount of money could change her mind.
Rousey explained that her lifestyle would not be changed by a normal, multi-million dollar offer.
“I mean, I have everything I want. You know, like there’s nothing that would really change my lifestyle. If you said a billion dollars, I’d do it. Ten million wouldn’t change my life.”
She then elaborated, showing she knows her own worth and the power of negotiation.
“See, I’m really good at negotiating. The power is in the past, man. A billion dollars.”
Rousey’s comments seem to definitively close the door on a potential comeback. She has successfully transitioned into a new phase of her life, and it would take a truly astronomical, nine-figure offer to even get her to consider a return to the grueling world of combat sports or sports entertainment.
