WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has revealed that she has been getting in-ring advice and feedback from her brother-in-law, AEW star Bryan Danielson. On the most recent episode of her “Nikki & Brie” YouTube show, Nikki praised the “American Dragon” for his honest and helpful critiques as she continues her recent comeback run in WWE.
Nikki shared that her fellow wrestlers were shocked to learn she was getting pointers from the legendary technical wrestler.
“I was talking with some of the girls, and we were talking about my match last week. I was like, ‘Yeah, and Bryan and blah blah,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh my god, how cool. So Bryan gives you advice?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, he gives me feedback. He’s sent me stuff to watch. He’ll tell me things to work on.’ And they’re like, ‘Dude, you’re so lucky.’ I’m like, ‘I know.’ And I go, ‘He’s honest—very honest.’”
She also credited his feedback for her recent improvements in the ring.
“Did you notice how I was a little more- I had more intensity going into things? I was really trying to think of it, which I still need to continue, but I think you saw it even more so than my match before. Those were things that I told myself.”
In a humorous follow-up, a clip was shown from Cody Rhodes’s “What Do You Want To Talk About” podcast where he recalled Danielson’s “jarring” and “wild” car conversations, specifically a time he “wanted to have a full roundtable” about “the average male p**** size.”
Nikki Bella responded to the clip, confirming her brother-in-law’s peculiar sense of humor.
“He loves boner jokes, d— jokes. All the things. Brie will always be like, ‘That’s what he laughs the hardest at.’ He loves anything p****.”
