Carlos Silva Confirms TNA Deal With AMC Is Not A Time Buy

TNA Wrestling’s move to AMC Networks is a legitimate partnership, not a paid placement.

Following the announcement that TNA iMPACT! will move to AMC and AMC+ in 2026, TNA President Carlos Silva appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show to clarify the nature of the agreement. Historically, TNA has faced rumors regarding “time buy” deals—where a promotion pays a network for airtime—specifically during their tenure on Pop TV. Silva firmly shut down any such speculation regarding this new deal.

“What I can say is that it’s definitely not a time buy. It’s a partnership that has upside as we build TNA into a bigger property,” Silva said.

While Silva declined to reveal the specific dollar value of the contract, he confirmed that the financial terms are significant for the company’s future.

“Financially it really helps us get where we need to be in 2026 and beyond… very happy with [the deal], yes,” he added.
