Steven Borden, son of wrestling legend Sting, has officially made his AEW in-ring debut.
Less than a month after his first singles match, Borden competed in a dark match prior to Wednesday’s Dynamite: Winter is Coming in Atlanta. He defeated Kieran Gray, the same opponent from his singles debut and a fellow Darby Allin trainee.
Borden, who has only been training since early 2024, previously had no interest in wrestling until participating in his father’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024. That night, he appeared as the “Wolfpac” version of Sting, and the experience reportedly gave him the “wrestling bug.”
Darby Allin praised Borden’s potential earlier this year, telling Ariel Helwani that Borden “was good” and could go “as far as he wants to take it.”
