The rivalry between Ricochet and “Jungle” Jack Perry is far from over.
On Saturday’s AEW Collision, Jack Perry secured a rematch for the AEW National Championship by defeating Anthony Bowens in a title eliminator match. Perry pinned The Acclaimed member after connecting with a running knee strike. Immediately following the bell, Perry’s focus shifted to the commentary table, where champion Ricochet was seated. Perry charged at the champion, attacking him in his chair and forcing Ricochet to flee the scene.
The two recently clashed on the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite, where Ricochet defeated Perry to retain his title in their first-ever meeting. Ricochet, who won the inaugural National Title at Full Gear in November via a Casino Gauntlet match, has already racked up five successful defenses across four different promotions.
Perry is seeking his third singles title in AEW, having previously held the TNT Championship in 2024 and the FTW Championship in 2023. While the date for the rematch has not yet been officially announced, the bad blood displayed on Collision suggests it will happen very soon.
