Mercedes Mone responded on social media after a fan repeatedly yelled her old WWE name during Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
Mone attacked AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale during an interview segment on the show, continuing the build to their title match at All In: London. During the segment, a fan could be heard yelling “Sasha come home” and “Sasha we love you,” references to her WWE run as Sasha Banks.
“They always send feds to watch our show ! #tbs #hbomax #tnt,” Mone posted afterward.
Mone walked out of WWE alongside Naomi in May 2022 over creative disagreements while the two held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. She debuted for New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2023 and signed with AEW in 2024, where she became the longest reigning TBS Champion.
Mone challenges Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In: London on August 30 at Wembley Stadium.
