Seth Rollins was not meant to be away from WWE television this long, according to WrestleVotes.
The report stated that the original plan did not call for a break of this length, and that Rollins’ name has not come up in recent creative discussions. He is still expected back, barring a change backstage.
Rollins last appeared at SummerSlam 2026, losing to Roman Reigns in a match built around their history in The Shield. He has been off television for more than five weeks.
It was reported in August that Rollins is not injured and that the time off is a planned creative break. WWE has not announced a return date.
