Some WWE Raw talent are reportedly hoping the company reconsiders holding Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
According to WRKD Wrestling, backstage talk among talent at Raw has included some saying they hope WWE seriously reconsiders the event following an escalated travel advisory for Saudi Arabia issued over the weekend.
Crown Jewel is scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh. The U.S. Department of State’s updated advisory urges Americans to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia due to the “risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity.”
It has previously been reported that Crown Jewel is still expected to take place on November 7 even if it is moved out of Saudi Arabia, due to WWE’s commitment to that date with ESPN.
