Bryan Danielson’s return to the ring on the September 30 episode of AEW Dynamite was planned as a one-night appearance, according to Fightful Select.
Danielson wrestled on the show, which was a tribute to PAC following his death on September 27. The report says there was never an internal expectation that Danielson would return to AEW television on a regular basis.
Danielson was among the many wrestlers who volunteered to take part in the tribute, according to the report. Fightful has not heard of him being factored into AEW’s on-screen plans.
