Cody Rhodes says he wants to keep acting after playing Guile in Street Fighter.
On the Flagrant podcast, Rhodes said wrestling remains his life’s work, but a movie screening changed how he thinks about acting.
“I love it. It’s my life’s work. There’s plenty to accomplish… but I got the acting bug hard when we went to see… the screening of Union County,” Rhodes said.
“I called Brandi after. I was so of the thought, like, ‘I got to, I have to start flexing this muscle.'”
He said he wants to get good at it.
“I really am intrigued by this. I want to get good at this because I’m here and this is fun and it’s action.”
Street Fighter opens October 16. Rhodes plays Guile, and Roman Reigns plays Akuma.
