Jeff Jarrett says The Last Outlaw and Double J are his two favorite versions of his character.
On My World with Jeff Jarrett, Jarrett was asked which incarnation of his character was his personal favorite. He started with his most recent run in AEW.
“I never dreamed the old Last Outlaw would face Bryan Danielson, Orange Cassidy, go down that whole list, walk out Wembley. This last run I was on, I still have to pinch myself,” Jarrett said. “It blows me away, kind of the things I’ve gotten to do this late in my career.”
He said the Double J character from his WWF run had a clear identity.
“I did like the Double J character. It had a defined identity of who it was.”
Jarrett also named his run as a heel in Mexico and his time in TNA.
“The King of the Mountain in Mexico, super red-hot heel. I think Konnan understood what I could do… we pushed the right buttons. That was a lot of fun,” he said. “I love playing the founder role, and me and Mick and Main Event Mafia and the new guys, that was a fun time.”
“Double J, Last Outlaw probably top two.”
