Sheamus says he is just taking a long vacation from wrestling.
He was referred to as an “ex-luchador” in an interview with Telemundo Deportes at the Bundesliga Haus watch party in Chicago on October 31.
“Did you say ex-luchador? I’m just taking time off. I’m just chilling, I’m just relaxing. I’m on vacation. A long vacation,” Sheamus said.
Sheamus became a free agent on October 1 when his WWE contract expired. Fightful Select reported last week that AEW is in no rush to sign him, though Claudio Castagnoli and Adam Copeland have said they would like to see him in the company.
TNA approached Sheamus about answering Moose’s open challenge at Bound For Glory, but the spot went to Max Caster.
