Nikki Bella says she does not expect another singles match with Brie Bella.
On SportsRadio 94, Nikki said both sisters are near the end of their in-ring careers, and that Brie is still recovering from an injury.
“I mean, now after our injuries, I don’t think so. I just don’t think, we’re so at the end of our in-ring careers that I feel like it just has to be together at this point,” Nikki said.
The twins faced each other in a singles match at Hell in a Cell in 2014.
“I would have loved that though before because I really loved that match with Brie. It’s a lot like when I have my matches with Paige. There’s certain people you work with and you have great chemistry with, and you give a lot to each other. And I remember that match, our timing, you just have chemistry and I would have loved to have one more thing with Brie, especially how I am now.”
“By the time she heals and comes back, I don’t think it’ll happen unfortunately.”
Nikki also said sharing a locker room with women who grew up watching her and Brie has been the highlight of her career.
“So, the fact that I get to share a locker room with these women, a ring? That has probably been the greatest moment of my career. Because it showed that everything I fought for, everything I did, everything I sacrificed, used my voice, my platform, like, these are the results of all these women.”
