WWE will produce a large part of the Crown Jewel broadcast remotely from its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, according to PWInsider.
Production and satellite trucks will be set up at WWE headquarters for the November 7 show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the report said.
WWE will have a smaller staff than usual in Saudi Arabia, though a “sizeable” part of the production crew is still making the trip. The crew on site will set up cameras, sound and other equipment, and the feeds will be sent back to Stamford, where staff will run the broadcast.
WWE has also offered $3,000 in hazard pay to crew members traveling to Saudi Arabia for the show, the report said.
TKO President Mark Shapiro told employees last week that the company will not put anyone in harm’s way.
