AEW star Julia Hart had high praise for Mercedes Moné following their match in the opening round of this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. Although Hart did not win their contest at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view, she clearly valued the experience of being in the ring with the top star.
Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Hart shared her positive feelings about working with Moné. She indicated that the match was a great learning opportunity for her and left her feeling very inspired about her wrestling career.
“She (Moné) was so amazing,” Julia Hart said, according to Fightful who transcribed the comments. “I learned so much from her. I can’t wait to wrestle her again. After that I felt so excited about wrestling.” Hart’s enthusiasm suggests she is looking forward to potentially facing Moné again down the road in AEW. Mercedes Moné is now set to face Jamie Hayter in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
