Legendary tag team Team 3D, also known as The Dudley Boyz, will be appearing at the TNA Wrestling television taping in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday, September 5. The company announced that the multi-time world tag team champions will be on hand for a special Meet and Greet with fans at the event. This appearance is part of the build-up to what is being billed as the final match ever between two of the most iconic tag teams in professional wrestling history. At the TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view in July, after The Hardys won the TNA World Tag Team Championships, Bully Ray confronted them in the ring and issued a challenge for one last match against Team 3D.
That historic final encounter is now officially scheduled for TNA’s biggest event of the year, the Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which will take place on Sunday, October 12, in Lowell, Massachusetts. The match will see two of the three teams that revolutionized tag team wrestling in the late 1990s and early 2000s in the famous Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches face off for the last time. The rivalry between The Hardys, The Dudley Boyz, and the team of Edge and Christian defined an era. Fans in Minneapolis will get a chance to see the legends up close before they head towards their final chapter.
