A new match has been added to the lineup for this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision on September 13. AEW President Tony Khan announced on social media that the newest member of the Death Riders, Daniel Garcia, will team up with the faction’s leader, Jon Moxley, to take on the Paragon duo of Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong. This match will be Garcia’s first since his shocking heel turn on the September 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he attacked Darby Allin and officially aligned himself with Moxley’s group. The bout will be a major test for the new pairing as they face two of the most technically proficient wrestlers in the company.
The show, which was taped on Thursday night in Philadelphia, will be the final event of AEW’s successful residency at the 2300 Arena. The card is loaded with high-stakes matches on the road to the All Out pay-per-view. In two major qualifiers for the AEW Unified Championship match at All Out, the current champion, Kazuchika Okada, will defend his title against Michael Oku, and Konosuke Takeshita will face Anthony Bowens. The show will also feature Mark Briscoe announcing the stipulation for his All Out match against MJF, and a huge ten-woman tag team match.
