Tony Chimel Confirms He Is No Longer With AEW

AEW

Longtime WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel has confirmed his departure from All Elite Wrestling. Chimel, who joined AEW as a producer in 2023, told the “All Axxess” podcast that his time with the company has ended.

“I always had a good time there… It was a nice little run that I had there. Very grateful for the time that I had there.”

In other AEW news, a new report from Fightful Select suggests that Anna Jay is expected to remain with the company as her contract nears its expiration. While Jay is exploring her options, the “prevailing sentiment” is that she will re-sign, largely due to her successful partnership with Tay Melo. The report notes that increased TV time for the duo could be a key incentive in the negotiations.
