MJF Set To Appear On AEW Dynamite In Tulsa

AEW

Fresh off regaining the AEW World Championship at Worlds End, MJF is set to appear on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

AEW confirmed on Sunday that the “Salt of the Earth” will be in attendance to hype his upcoming title defense. While MJF celebrated his controversial victory last week, he was interrupted by a parade of potential challengers, including Kenny Omega, “Hangman” Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, and former champion Samoa Joe. Despite the mounting threats, MJF’s immediate focus is on next week’s Dynamite (January 14), where he is scheduled to defend the AEW World Championship against Bandido.

“What will MJF say after being confronted by Hangman, Kenny Omega, Swerve, Samoa Joe & Brodido? MJF defends the title vs @BandidoWrestler NEXT WEEK, 1/14!,” the company posted on social media.

While the World Title match is set for next week, Bandido will be in action this Wednesday in Tulsa with his own gold on the line. The ROH World Champion will defend his title against Sammy Guevara. This match stems from a heated backstage confrontation on Collision, where Guevara expressed jealousy over Bandido receiving a World Title shot before him. A win for Bandido would give him significant momentum heading into his clash with MJF, while an upset by Guevara could derail the challenger’s focus entirely.

The Tulsa show is stacked with high-stakes matchups. In a brutal “Lights Out” match, the team of “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland will put their uneasy alliance to the test against “The Opps” (Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs). Additionally, the new AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley will face Shelton Benjamin in a Title Eliminator match. If Benjamin can win or survive the time limit, he will earn a future shot at the Continental Crown.

Rounding out the card, “Timeless” Toni Storm takes on Marina Shafir, and legendary commentator Jim Ross makes his return to the broadcast booth in his home state of Oklahoma.

AEW Dynamite Lineup (Jan 7, 2026):

Lights Out Match: The Opps (Hook & Powerhouse Hobbs) vs. Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley vs. Shelton Benjamin

ROH World Championship: Bandido (c) vs. Sammy Guevara

Singles Match: Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir

Segments: MJF appears; Jim Ross returns to commentary
