This Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision will feature a star-studded women’s trios match.
AEW has confirmed that Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander will join forces with the Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron). The powerhouse trio is set to take on the team of Hyan, Maya World, and Vert Vixen on the January 10 episode.
This match serves as a tune-up for the champions ahead of Maximum Carnage next Wednesday, where they are scheduled to face the Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue). Statlander and The Babes of Wrath have formed a formidable alliance in recent weeks to combat the dark forces of the Triangle, and this Saturday offers them a chance to build momentum and refine their chemistry.
For Hyan and Maya World, this is another huge opportunity. The duo recently signed full-time contracts with AEW following an impressive showing at Worlds End, and now they find themselves in the ring with the top champions of the division. Vert Vixen rounds out the opposing team, looking to make her mark on the Saturday night show.
Also on the card for Collision is a TNT Championship match between Mark Briscoe and CMLL’s Hechicero. Briscoe is looking to get back on track with a successful title defense. Additionally, the rivalry between luchadors continues as El Clon faces Komander.
