AEW World Champion MJF continues to make waves, this time using an independent wrestling appearance to break news about the company’s growing roster.
Fresh off his title defense against Bandido at Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, MJF made history on Friday night by becoming the first AEW World Champion to defend the belt at an independent event. Competing at Limitless Wrestling’s Limitless Rumble 2026, MJF successfully retained his championship against Alec Price.
Following the match, MJF took the microphone and publicly offered Price and his tag team partner, Jordan Oliver, a spot in All Elite Wrestling. Both men accepted the offer in the ring, confirming their signing with the promotion.
Price and Oliver have been regulars on Ring of Honor television recently, most notably facing CRU at the January 10 tapings. They join a stacked class of 2026 signees that already includes Andrade El Idolo, Jake Doyle (formerly Jake Something), and The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz).
