Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson said WWE never offered them the choice of a pay cut before their exit.
Other veterans who left the company recently, including Sheamus and the members of The New Level, have said they were given the option of staying on reduced money. Speaking on their podcast Talk’n Shop, the Good Brothers said no such conversation happened with them.
“They could have offered us a pay cut. I mean, that would have been kind,” Gallows said.
Anderson asked whether they would have taken it.
“Doesn’t matter. It would have been nice if we had been offered it, though,” Gallows said.
The pair initially said they would have turned it down before changing their answer.
“Okay. We would have accepted the pay cut,” Anderson said.
“So, I probably would have accepted the pay cut,” Gallows said.
Their last WWE television match was a loss to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger on NXT last September. Most of their work this year has been with Noah in Japan, along with appearances for Maple Leaf Pro and MLW.
