Last month, Darby Allin, alongside FTR and Bryan Danielson, went to war with the Elite’s Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry in Las Vegas at AEW Double or Nothing in an Anarchy in the Arena match.
Perry was set on fire at one point. During an interview with Battleground Podcast, Allin spoke about Perry. He said,
“I’d say he’s got some balls now. I never liked him last year. I was always trying to tell people, ‘Don’t you see why this guy sucks?’ It didn’t take long for the world to see why he sucks. Even when we are both supposed to be the good guys in that pillars match, I never did see eye to eye with him. But, seeing him go to Japan and everything and his return, I feel like he’s actually got a pair of balls of him and he’s not — I think it’s the best incarnation of Jack Perry. Jungle Boy, c’mon [laughs]. But like, Jack, let’s see what you got Sunday. This is his first match back in AEW and there’s no better way to see what he’s got than Anarchy In The Arena.”
