Tony Khan: Getting Kenny Omega Back Will Be A Great Thing For Us

Kenny Omega has been out of action for several months before finally having surgery. Fortunately, he seems to be in much better shape now. While speaking at NJPW, Omega said he would face Gabbe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty after getting into a brawl with him.

Tony Khan participated in the Full Gear Media Call and was asked about Omega’s status.

“I would love to have Kenny Omega back in AEW as soon as possible,” Tony Khan said. “He’s one of our greatest wrestlers ever. We work really closely with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. We’ll be collaborating with them on the Wrestle Dynasty event to make it a huge show, and very excited to get Kenny Omega back, hopefully very soon in AEW.

“It’s something that will help us a lot, and means a lot to us. And absolutely, if we can get Kenny Omega going as soon as possible I think it would be a great thing for us. I’m just excited that his health is better, and he sounds a lot better and looks so much better. And it will be a great thing for AEW to get Kenny Omega back here very soon. Thanks for asking.”
