Jack Perry And Luchasaurus Reunite At AEW All Out

The original duo of Jack Perry and Luchasaurus are back together in AEW. The reunion took place at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in Toronto, Canada, following a chaotic four-way ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. After the champions, Brody King and Bandido of Brodido, successfully retained their titles, Perry appeared and launched an attack on The Young Bucks.

When Matt and Nick Jackson gained the upper hand, the lights in the Scotiabank Arena went out, and a video package aired showing Perry seemingly reviving his former partner. Luchasaurus then appeared in the ring, attacked The Young Bucks, discarded the “Killswitch” weight-lifting belt he had been carrying, and embraced Perry. The reunion was confirmed when their theme music, “Tarzan Boy,” played throughout the arena.

The angle occurred just after one of the most brutal matches of the night. The champions, Brodido, defended their titles against The Young Bucks, The Don Callis Family’s Josh Alexander and Hechicero, and JetSpeed’s Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. The match was filled with high-risk maneuvers, including Brody King hitting a Gonzo Bomb on Mike Bailey through a ladder bridge at ringside and Kevin Knight being thrown from a ladder through a pair of tables. The match concluded when Bandido was able to ascend a ladder and retrieve the championship belts after Brody King took out The Young Bucks with a tope suicida to the outside.

The reunion of Jack Perry and Luchasaurus marks a return to their roots as a tag team. The duo, originally known as “A Boy and His Dinosaur” on the independent circuit, were one of the foundational teams in AEW. They later formed the popular Jurassic Express faction with Marko Stunt. The team eventually imploded when Perry turned heel and betrayed his partners. This led to Luchasaurus aligning with Christian Cage and later being repackaged as “Killswitch.”

The attack on The Young Bucks reignites one of AEW’s longest-running rivalries. The history between Jack Perry and the Jacksons dates back to the very beginning of the company, with their teams trading wins and tag team championships over the years. The Young Bucks were also instrumental in the storyline that led to Perry’s initial heel turn.
