Tony Khan says the AEW Dynamite tribute show for PAC is the most important show the company has done.
The September 30 episode of Dynamite was dedicated to Ben Satterley, who wrestled as PAC and died days earlier. The show came after All Out but did not focus on the pay-per-view or on building to the next event.
In a video on X after the October 14 Dynamite and Collision special, Khan said that was intentional.
“I felt the right choice for the PAC tribute show was not to promote the pay-per-view heavily. Not to run a lot of stories. I think just to focus on PAC and focus on who Ben was and why he was so important. I think it’s the greatest and most important show we’ve done. It’s been a very challenging time.”
PAC was the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion. Before AEW, he wrestled in WWE as Neville.
